| Sunday, September 11, 2011 – 1:30pm Stanford Memorial Church |
As we approach the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington, D.C., it seems only fitting that the choral arts community observe this tragedy through a musical tribute.
Schola Cantorum, in partnership with the Office for Religious Life at Stanford and the Department of Music, is participating in the Rolling Requiem (Mozart) at Stanford Memorial Church. Schola Cantorum will be joined by other Bay Area choirs, orchestra, and Dr. Robert Huw Morgan at the organ.
Our soloists have donated their time for this event: Christine Abraham, soprano; Malin Walrod, alto; Victor Floyd, tenor; and Jeffrey Fields, bass.
This performance is FREE and open to the public.
