Carols and Classics

Schola Cantorum sets the stage for a warm and nostalgic holiday – a concert bursting with the festive good cheer of seasonal choral favorites.  From sacred carols and hymns to secular classics, including arrangements by legendary collaborators Alice Parker and Robert Shaw, John Rutter’s ethereal “What Sweeter Music,” Mendelssohn’s familiar “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” and Herbert Howells’ tender “Here is the Little Door,” this traditional fare will replace the holiday sprint with bountiful holiday spirit.

The Saturday, December 12, concert is preceded by a Preludes pre-concert talk at 7:15 pm.
